Borneo International Marathon 2026 Route Map
The Borneo International Marathon course, lifted off the map and framed beside the medal you earned on it.
Two hexagonal reliefs sit side by side on a cream backing board: on one, the full 42.195km route modelled in three dimensions, tracing the Kota Kinabalu waterfront along the edge of the South China Sea. On the other, a dedicated holder for your own finisher medal. Below them, printed onto the board, the details that only mean something to you — your name, your bib, your time, your pace, and the country you ran it in.
Each piece is designed, modelled and printed in our studio。

Material & Care
Each Layerfolk display combines a shadow box frame, cream backing board, personalised printed details, and a layered 3D route map printed in PLA filament.
PLA allows us to create the raised route, city textures, and landmark details with a clean, lightweight finish suited for indoor display.
For best care, keep your frame indoors and away from direct sunlight, moisture, and high heat. Wipe the exterior gently with a soft dry cloth. Avoid using water, alcohol, or harsh cleaning products on the 3D map, backing board, or printed details.
Crafted with 3D Printing
Each Layerfolk piece is individually 3D printed, so subtle layer lines, surface variations or minor differences may naturally occur. These are characteristics of the 3D-printing process rather than defects, and every piece is carefully inspected before it leaves our studio.
Product Notes
- Made to order individually.
- Slight variation in colour and finish is normal and part of a printed, hand-finished process.
- The route map is a stylised representation of the course, designed for display — not a survey-accurate map.
- The finisher medal is not included. The holder is built to display your own original race medal.
- Please check all runner details carefully before placing your order. Your display will be produced using the information submitted at checkout.
- Each race design has a fixed route map, colours and layout. Artwork proofs are not provided before production.
- Layerfolk is an independent studio. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by any race organiser or event sponsor.
Shipping
Each Layerfolk frame is made to order and carefully prepared before shipping.
Processing time
Please allow 7–14 working days for production, as every Layerfolk display is personalised and made to order.
Delivery within Malaysia
Shipping usually takes 2–5 working days after your order is completed and packed.
Packaging
Your frame will be securely packed with protective materials to reduce movement during delivery. As this is a display piece with raised 3D details, we take extra care when preparing it for shipment.
Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, tracking details will be shared with you.

Please make sure all personalised details are correct before placing your order. As each display is made to order, we are unable to guarantee changes once production has started.
FAQ
Do I need to upload anything?
No. We already prepare the route map based on the selected race. You only need to provide your runner details at checkout.
Can I check the design before production?
Yes. We’ll send you a design preview for approval before production begins.
Is the medal included?
No. The finisher medal is not included. The medal display option is made for you to place your own original race medal inside the frame.
Will I receive a design proof before production?
For standard Race Collection orders, no artwork proof is provided before production.
Each race already has a fixed Layerfolk route design, colours and layout. Your display will be personalised using the runner details submitted with your order.
Please check your name, bib number, finish time, pace and country you ran it in carefully before completing your purchase.
We perform an internal detail check before production and may contact you if any submitted information appears incorrect or requires clarification.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Each frame is made to order. Production usually takes 7–14 working days, followed by delivery time.
